This weekend I picked up, from my local Goodwill, the (500) Days of Summer soundtrack (for only $1.50).
Now, the film was not my favorite, but it featured some pretty cool tracks. The soundtrack includes some of my favorite artists, like Regina Spektor and The Smiths. It features some other great artists, like your dad's favorite, Hall and Oates, as well as Feist, The Temper Trap and Wolfmother.
A nice touch is the last track, She & Him's cover of The Smiths' "Please, Please, Please let me get what I want." She & Him is Zooey Dechanel's (star of the film) band with indie-folk-rocker M. Ward.
The Smiths' classic 80s video for "There is a Ligth that Never Goes Out."
